Progressive Management of America, Inc. is a Destin, Florida-based property and Association management team, serving the panhandle from Pensacola to Panama City.  We are dedicated to integrity and the success of our clients. Founded and led by Michael and Gayle Kent, Progressive Management of America has built a strong and experienced management team.

From multi-family and single family residential communities, to commercial properties and Association Management, we are responsive, accessible and provide personal service. Our Team

Michael G. Kent

Michael G. Kent, Founder and President: Michael obtained a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering from the General Motors Institute and an M.B.A. from Wayne State University. He began his real estate career in 1980 after working as a vice president at Federal Mogul Corporation and then a plant manager for Allied Resins, Inc. He founded a real estate brokerage company, Kent and Company, P.A., in 1984 and in response to the growth of the management portion of the company; he founded Progressive Management of America, Inc. (Progressive Management). Mr. Kent has served as an officer for the Okaloosa Community Development Corporation since 1994 as an advocate of affordable housing.

Gayle Kent

Gayle Kent, Chief Financial Officer: Gayle majored in Business Administration at the Brigham Young University and graduated from a nursing program in California. She worked as an office manager in various medical offices. After receiving her Real Estate License she became an onsite marketing director for a beachfront community and joined Progressive Management in 1992. She has been Chief Financial Officer since 1999.

Jeffrey Kent

Jeffrey Kent, Regional Director: Jeffrey received his Bachelors Degree in Finance from Jacksonville State University in 1998, and became a licensed real estate broker in 2002. After serving as Director of Marketing and Training he took the position of Regional Director for Progressive Management in 2000.


 Anita Hogue

Anita Hogue, Vice President and Director of the Elite Properties Division: Anita is a proud alumna of Florida State University, achieving both undergraduate and graduate degrees there, induction into multiple honors societies, including Golden Key, Phi Lambda Theta, and Phi Kappa Phi, as well as two graduate certificates from FSU’s College of Education. Anita applied her educational success to the real estate and property management industries, and for more than 15 years, she has demonstrated success in team leadership, marketing, outstanding customer service, and portfolio financial growth, including managing more than $90 million in assets. Anita has held her CAM license for 11 years and is an active Certified Property Manager and a Florida Real Estate Broker for more than 15 years.
