Michael G. Kent

 Michael G. Kent, Founder and President: Michael obtained a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering from the General Motors Institute and an M.B.A. from Wayne State University.  He began his real estate career in 1980 after working as a vice president at Federal Mogul Corporation and then a plant manager for Allied Resins, Inc.  He founded a real estate brokerage company, Kent and Company, P.A., in 1984 and in response to the growth of the management portion of the company; he founded Progressive Management of America, Inc. (Progressive Management).  Mr. Kent has served as an officer for the Okaloosa Community Development Corporation since 1994 as an advocate of affordable housing.

 Gayle Kent 

Gayle Kent, Chief Financial Officer:  Gayle majored in Business Administration at the Brigham Young University and graduated from a nursing program in California.  She worked as an office manager in various medical offices.  After receiving her Real Estate License she became an onsite marketing director for a beachfront community and joined Progressive Management in 1992.  She has been Chief Financial Officer since 1999.


Jennifer Fillmore, Controller
Jennifer received her Bachelors Degree in Accounting from St. John Fisher College in 2000. She joined O’Sullivan Creel, LLP where she was part of the Auditing Services Department specializing in not-for-profit, condominium associations, and governmental industries. In 2005, Ms. Fillmore joined the Progressive Management Team as its Controller. She is a licensed Community Association Manager.

Jeff VanHusan, Community Association Manager
Jeff graduated from Grand Valley State Colleges in 1980 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a Major in Finance. In 1985, Jeff started his career specializing in fire and water restoration. In 1993, he was hired to implement a maintenance department and oversee all rehabilitation projects. In 2005, Jeff resigned from Progressive Management to concentrate on the building construction industry specializing in the rebuilding of hurricane damaged properties. Jeff was reunited with Progressive Management in 2010 as a Community Association Manager. He continues to hold current state licenses in Building Contractor, Real Estate, and Association Management.

Jeffrey Kent, Regional Director
Jeffrey Kent received his Bachelors Degree in Finance from Jacksonville State University in 1998 and became a licensed real estate broker in 2002. After serving as Director of Marketing and Training he took the position of Regional Director for Progressive Management in 2000.

John Fox, Regional Director
John served in the in the US Marine Corps and continued his career in the airline industry in customer service and project management.  Bringing his previous experience and skills John joined Progressive Management Team in 2007 as a District Manager.

Blaine Tew

Blaine received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Utah Valley University in 2001.  He worked many years in Construction Management, and as a Residential Home Builder.  He joined the Progressive Management Corporate staff in 2011.
